Clinical
- Frequently encountered lesions
- 20-40% of kidneys at autopsy with increasing age
- Increased frequency with end stage renal disease, especially with aquired cystic disease
- Increased frequency in kidneys containing papillary carcinoma
- Benign if strictly defined
